To celebrate our first year of marriage we took a trip to Japan and visited Tsubaki Shrine, which is the parent shrine of our wedding ceremony shrine in Washington. Japan’s forests and coasts are a spiritual center for our family. Eric got to share important places with Almendra and we visited many friends too.
